KMK MKR - My Kauta Rules

Nau mai, haere mai ki tēnei hui-ā-whānau, kia tūhonohono ai kā whānau i raro i te korowai o tō tātou reo, kia whakahoa kā tamariki ki kā tamariki, kā mātua ki kā matua, kia kaha ake ai tō tātou hapori reo Māori.

Do you like healthy kai? 

Do you fancy yourself as a budding kai master?

 Are you keen to kōrero?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, then this is the hui for you!  Come along and join the KMK whānau.  We’ll be making sushi, raw spring rolls, fruit platters and decorating cupcakes.  Namunamuā!  Oh yeah and we’ll be doing this using te reo Māori – don’t be shy if you are a beginner there will be plenty of passionate te reo enthusiasts to support you and your whānau to reo Māori mai, bust out some bilingual or try the basics.

Āhea:  Rāhoroi 20th Whā, Saturday August 20th

Kai hea:  Te Whare o Te Waipounamu, 15 Show Place, Addington

Te Wā:  4-6:30pm

Followed by a whānau trip to the whutupōro. Canterbury v Auckland.  7:35pm AMI Stadium. Limited seats for the rugby so pre-registration by August 12th essential. 

Cost for the Whutupōro are $20 per whānau (2 adults and 2 children - $5 per extra child)
